1. Partners should be Christians and be able to give an account of how and when they made the choice to follow Christ. (John 3:3-5, 16: Ephesians 2:8-10)
2. Partners must be baptised in water by full immersion. (Matthew 28:18-20; Romans 6:3-4; Colossians 2:12)
3. Partners should be baptised in the Holy Spirit with the biblical evidence of speaking in tongues and regularly desire spiritual gifts. (Acts 2:1-4; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31)
4. Partners should seek to live out The Great Command (Matthew 22:37-40) and The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and consistently engage and develop themselves in worship, ministry, evangelism, fellowship and discipleship.
5. Partners should live lives that are above reproach, honest and transparent, pursuing holiness and seeking to become more like Jesus every day. (1Peter 1:14-16; 1 Thessalonians 5:23)
6. Partners should make themselves accountable to their Eldership team which are appointed for spiritual edification, exhortation, admonition and comfort. (2 Corinthians 10:8, 1 Timothy 3:1-3; Hebrews 13:7, 17,24; Ephesians 4:11-13)
7. Partners should support ECCi prayerfully, financially, and actively, seeking to discover, develop and deploy their God-given gifts in the ministries and mission of their local church. (Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 15:58; 2 Corinthians 8:9)
8. Partners should, on all occasions promote the health, blessing and unity of ECCi. (Ephesians 4:3)
